We thus automatically receive certain information such as your IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the Internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start any programs or to transfer any viruses to a computer. Based on the information provided by the cookies, we can enhance the ease of use of our website for you and make sure our websites are displayed properly.

We will not disclose the data collected by us to any third party or create a link to personal data without your consent.

Of course you may, as a matter of principle, also visit our website without cookies. Internet browsers are usually configured such that they accept cookies. In general, you can choose to disable the use of cookies at any time by changing your browser settings. Please use the help function of your Internet browser to find out how you can change these settings. Please note that some functions of our website might not work if you have disabled the use of cookies.

Using Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google. Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Google). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, that is text files which are stored on your computer and which allow us to analyze your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will usually be transferred to a server of Google in the United States and will be stored there. Within the Member States of the European Union and in other countries which have signed the Agreement on the European Economic Area, however, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will be truncated by Google before it is being sent to the United States. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a server of Google in the United States and be truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide additional services related to the use of the website and the use of the Internet to the operator of the website. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the context of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

The purpose of the data processing is to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on activities on the website. Based on the use of the website and the Internet, other related services shall be provided. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the operator of the website.

You may prevent the storage of cookies by changing the settings of your browser software; however, please note that you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website if you prevent the storage of cookies. Furthermore, you may prevent the collection of data (incl. your IP address) generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website and its transfer to Google as well as the processing of the data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available, using the following link: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Alternatively or in addition to the browser add-on, you can also prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our sites by clicking on this link. When doing so, an opt-out cookie will be installed on your device. As a result, data collection by Google Analytics will be prevented for this website and for this browser in the future for as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Using script libraries (Google web fonts)

We use script libraries and font libraries such as for example Google web fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on our website to display our contents accurately and in a visually appealing design across different browsers. Google web fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If a browser does not support Google web fonts or blocks the access, contents will be displayed in a standard font.

If you access a script library or font library, a connection to the operator of the library will automatically be established. It is theoretically possible in this context – however, currently unclear whether and for what purpose, if applicable – that operators of respective libraries collect some data.

For information on the privacy policy of the library operator Google, please visit the following website: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Amendments to our data protection provisions

We reserve the right to amend this privacy statement to make sure that it always complies with current legal requirements, or to make sure that changes to our services are adequately reflected in the privacy statement, e.g. when introducing new services. When you visit us again, the new privacy statement shall apply.
