Dr. Rolf-Dieter Kempis

Rolf-Dieter supports companies in strategy development, operational improvement processes, reorganization, and M&A decisions. He provides this support as part of Theron projects in collaboration with his Theron partner colleagues or in his capacity as a member of advisory or supervisory boards.
Prior to his consulting role at Theron, Rolf-Dieter served as CEO of Grammer AG and as a senior director at McKinsey. He has served on the advisory and supervisory boards of SMT Scharf AG, Feintool AG, Grammer AG, and Novem GmbH. Rolf-Dieter holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Industrial Engineering (RWTH Aachen). His doctoral research focused on finite element calculations. Rolf-Dieter is the co-author of the following business books: *Einfach Überlegen*, *Do IT Smart*, *Qualität gewinnt*, and *Innovationen in der Stahlindustrie*.
