Henner Schmidt advises medium-sized and large companies on strategic and operational challenges. In particular, he focuses on issues related to energy and sustainability. He supports companies in strategy development, optimizing their investment portfolios, streamlining production processes, and developing their internal organization and workflows. His work focuses on the process industries (particularly the chemical and cosmetics industries), energy production and distribution, waste management, and the real estate sector.
Henner Schmidt has more than 35 years of experience in management consulting (including at McKinsey & Co., Inc.) and interim management. He has gained particular expertise in site development and the management of infrastructures at large industrial sites. He has project experience in diverse cultural environments, including the Middle East, Poland, Ukraine, the U.S., and France. Henner Schmidt holds a degree in chemical engineering (KIT Karlsruhe, ENSIC Nancy) and served for several years as a member of a German state parliament.
